Vestry Reflection

let me just get this collar straight...

Vestments can be heavy, hot, musty and quite uncomfortable to wear... they aren’t that easy to put on for the uninitiated either.  And it is always strange what gets noticed and what does not.  I’ve heard tales of a server managing to spill the unconcecrated wine down their white alb, leave, change it and come back with more wine without anyone in the congregation noticing, but wear one of the many layers slightly skew and you never hear the end of it.
